... to L.O.V.E.

If you know me well, you know Eye am not a creature of habit, but there is one thing that has remained constant in my soul... Love for the human race. So it is only fitting that I begin this written dance with emotion, in LOVE. It’s rather strange (and I know this to be true to many) that we confine our existence to either remaining single or finding a one true love that engulfs our identity. There was no in between for many generations before us, because there was no collective desire to “find ourselves,” “fulfill our purpose,” or truly “live for us.” Eye give thanks to our predecessors who lived without this selfishness in order to allow us to live and flow in this gift. Although putting oneself first does set the ultimate foundation for pretty much anything in life, Eye have found there is not one way for any one or any thing. Eye do not have one set purpose... Eye no longer believe in a set fate or a one true love. Eye now know that “the Universe” “Spirit” “God” “our Higher Self” “Me” or whoever/whatever has our back as long as we flow with them/it. We are here to LIVE! To experience. To feel the wind on our cheeks, to feel the cold piercing our bones, to feel the sun kissing our soul, to feel bliss, to feel heartache... to FEEL! There is just as much purity in sadness, loneliness, and heartbreak as there is in bliss, grace, and love. Terms such as monogamy, polyamory, vegan, pescatarian, straight, queer, weightlifter, yogi... and on and on have set even more of a restricting essence on our freedom than their endorsers’ intention. Intentionally new age terminologies were created to allow more freedom and less restrictions, but we have found ourselves attached to who we think we were, who we think we are, and who we think we will become, while clawing at the greener grass on the other side more than ever. Whether we confess to a need for others or not... we do indeed need them. No matter how introverted we think we are... we eventually need the energy of another human. The wind speaks, but she can also be difficult to fulfill many parts of our goofy ass human ways. So Eye challenge us...to be. To GET TO find what and who makes us happy in the present, together and separate. To GET TO work for establishing more platonic loves of our life. To GET TO have a partner(s) who we build with spiritually, sexually, mentally, or financially, or a couple to all of the above...and respect them in their human craft so much we have NO NEED for them or their talents... But presently want their love, their support, their rebuttals, their compassion, their no-shit-taking, their guidance, and their reserve. Their patience and their impatience. Eye challenge us to voice to them, “Eye love you”... but further more, Eye challenge us to unconditionally love outside of ourselves without losing any part of our-CELLF.
